UAE Commemoration Day
About the show
A national ceremony of remembrance at Wahat Al Karama, honouring members of the UAE Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to the nation. Military parade formations, ceremonial artillery, seven sky scanners representing the seven Emirates, projection mapping and a live military band were brought together within one carefully controlled sequence, with the families of the fallen at the heart of the ceremony. The responsibility extended far beyond conventional showcalling. Every movement, musical passage, projection cue, military salute and broadcast moment had to align precisely with protocol and live timing, culminating in a coordinated UAE Air Force flypast and aerial salute. In a ceremony carrying national and emotional significance, the challenge was to hold military operations, live music, technical systems and ceremonial protocol within one exact live structure.
